Safety & Legal Center
Rules of the road
RoadPeer is a marketplace and community platform for verified EU/EEA travelers. We do not employ providers and we do not authorize users to provide services in any country. Read the rules below before listing or booking anything.
Buyer rules
- Be respectful. Confirm pricing and scope in writing before any service.
- Verify the provider's profile, badges, and reviews before booking.
- Do not pressure providers to perform services outside their stated scope.
- Report unsafe listings using the report tool on each profile.
Provider rules
- You must be 18+, an EU/EEA citizen or legally eligible EU/EEA resident.
- You may offer services only if you are legally allowed to do so in the location where the service takes place.
- You set your own price, availability, service area, and accept or reject every request.
- You are responsible for taxes, insurance, business registration, licensing, and local compliance.
- You must not perform safety-critical, gas, electrical or structural work on any vehicle.
Prohibited services (blocked)
These categories are not allowed on the platform during MVP because they typically require special licensing, insurance or legal review.
Regulated services (declaration required)
These categories may be regulated depending on the country. You may list them only if you confirm the warning shown during onboarding.
Tax responsibility
You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due on income earned through the platform, in your tax residence country and in any country where the service is performed.
Insurance & liability
RoadPeer does not provide insurance. You are responsible for any liability arising from services you provide. Liability insurance is strongly recommended and may be legally required for some categories.
Local laws & licensing
Before offering any service, you must ensure that you are legally allowed to provide that service in the country and location where it takes place. Local laws on trade registration, licensing and consumer protection always apply.
Community guidelines
- Be honest in reviews. Do not retaliate against fair feedback.
- No discrimination, harassment, or illegal activity.
- Do not solicit payments outside the platform to evade safety controls.
